Alright so I haven’t posted in a while and my Google Analytics is looking like crap and I have some splainin’ to do. Actually no I don’t really need to explain anything to anyone, but my girlfriend isn’t home from work yet and I have some time, so read on.
I started this blog as my SEO outlet pertaining to any and everything under the SEO sun that I learn or find interesting on a daily basis as I entered my first consulting gig.
October 2nd, 2009 — Random Thoughts
Update: Email servers were restarted and voila, everything’s fixed. This was Wednesday roughly noonish. We have a company instant messenger for back and forth communication (works great by the way) and this was my immediate IM to IT.
Me: So what you’re saying is that you didn’t think to restart the servers on Monday when you found out about this issue?
IT: (Silence)
And I still managed to land 14 links by the end of today (Thurs)

Links ‘R Us is my new SEO blog specifically pertaining to backlinks. As I’m sure you’ve seen, like the Text-Link-Ads.com’s banner states, “Links are SEO Fuel”. Links run the internet.
Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Brian Cox, an in-house SEO that prides himself on getting some of the best backlinks on the internet for my respective clients and employers. I’ve been an SEO for two years now and am always adapting to the constant changing industry that is ‘Search’. Search, whether the lay person knows it or not, is becoming a normal everyday part of life. Some of us just realize it and understand it faster and easier then others.
One of the biggest aspects of search are backlinks. Backlinks determine so many factors as well as provide a detailed insight into one’s website. Not only do backlinks ‘count as a vote for your site in the eye’s of the Engines’ but they also show the size of your brand, your main targeted keywords, and creativity of your SEO team or agency.
I look to use this blog to hone my skills and learn as much as possible about the future of SEO. This link building blog will be a regularly updated outlet where I will provide my thoughts and findings on links and how they continue to shape the internet. So stay tuned…
