Links ‘R Us is a blog I finally decided to create in the fall of 2009. Despite the recent creation of the blog, I have over 2 years experience in the SEO industry primarily working on e-commerce stores, blogs, and service industry websites. I just kept coming up with awesome ideas and decided it was finally time to share them with the world.
Links ‘R Us is my outlet about news, tips, strategies, thoughts and theories when it comes to the world of search. And some random stuff here and there.
Some of the SEO Services I provide include:
- Basic SEO Consulting
- Keyword Research
- Link Building
- On-Site Optimization
- SEO Site Audits
- Web Analytics
- Basic PPC Campaigns
Background about myself:
I stumbled upon SEO by accident while creating a Philadelphia Sports Blog with my friend a few years back. I taught myself the basics through hours of reading and Googling and a few select forums and before I knew it, I had a PR5 blog getting 1,000s of visitors per day. At the time I was working as a credit analyst for a bank and I became fascinated with the Internet and Internet marketing. I quickly became bored working at the bank and really intrigued with SEO and answered a Craigslist ad for a start-up Internet company to join their small in-house SEO team. And the rest is history…
My sports blog still lists for some pretty decent keywords, although I havent really checked in a while or care to update it. It’s still a PR3 and holds some real nice backlinks, however Wordpress won’t let me 301 the domain to anything of my own. Really lame if you ask me, I wasted too much time arguing with them and finally gave up. I’ve just let it go ever since and will rant probably 3 or 4 times a year after going to a game or watching another Eagle playoff loss.
Update: I’ve accepted a new job offer as the Director of Marketing for an internet marketing that specializes in lead generation. I’ll still be primarily focusing on SEO but with more of an emphasis on targeted traffic. I mean isn’t traffic the only thing we’re after anyway. Super excited and its been really cool so far. Stay tuned to my link building blog for updates and projects I dive into.
